AGAIN, Girls by the Luna Bros. (Image), Black Hole by Charles Burns (Kitchen Sink/Fantagraphics Books), and The Alcoholic by Jonathan Ames (Vertigo).

Black Hole (Charles Burns and his generation speaks for many in this surreal story of drugs and sex.)


Luna Bros. Girls (Scooch over Y the Last Man, comics just got a little crazier on your subject.)


The Alcoholic (Jonathan Ames' beautifully pathetic recounting of the spiral that alcohol caused him.)

I will have to agree with Bluemaxx, Girls by the Luna Bros. was amazing. I called it the "Lost" of comics.
