Good choices but I would've stuck The Archies at #1. I still hear them on the radio.

Removed Faith +1 and insert Dazzler at that spot and add Cold Slither in Dazzler's previous spot.

The Archies is obviously the most famous animated band (or at least, the one with the greatest hit) but I just can't give this marshmallow gang the #1 spot.

Cold Slither made me think of Snakes 'N' Barrels!

The Archies were a Bubble Gum band, not Marshmallow. Their music was sweet and simple, and enjoyed by most people. (I swear -- they even addressed this pigeonholing in the pages of Archie comics!)

However, since they essentially paved the way for animated/comic rock bands, I think that alone should have garnered them the top spot.

Just think: without The Archies, we wouldn't have had Josie and the Pussycats (also an Archie comics property), The Neptunes (from Jabberjaw), or The Chan Clan!

Nevermind, I just watched a clip of the show on Youtube. I'm not sure I could stomach the entire thing.

I can't believe no-1 has mentioned Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem! granted, they're Muppets and not cartoons, but close enough damnit.
