double feature

i think several movies just go together:

the iron giant and the russians are coming- both movies take place in the fifties, during the cold war, both take place in Maine. I think they go well together.


Rat race and and it's a mad mad mad world.-both are movies about chasing after money true rat race is much shorter but both are awesome in my eyes.

Stargate and atlantis the lost empire-these movies go together cause they have similar plots and interesting to see them side my side.

Rat Race was a nod to It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Sphere and Event Horizon go pretty well together, with their similar space scifi vibe.

2001: A Space Odyssey/2010: The Year We Make Contact & Sunshine (2007).

Princess Bride & Willow, both fantastical comedies.

Legend (1985) & Dragonslayer (Just that both have elements of dark fantasy, yet they're light-hearted.)

Labyrinth & The Dark Crystal (pretty obvious).

Krull & The Sword and The Sorcerer.

Terminator (any in the series) and Robocop (any in the series).

Both are recent...but they should be added:

The Hurt Locker and The Messenger.

House Party and House Party 2.

I was wondering who would make the lame a movie and it's sequel joke. Way to go.

You know, you'd think with the dvd success of the Hellboy animated movies that Dark Horse would step up with some premises. Wait...who owns Terminator and Robocop. I just figured since DH is king of licenses when it comes to comics, that they would. Heh.
