Youtube's new format

I hate it. I absolutely hate it. What the hell man? What's up with it? I can't open multiple windows anymore (I've messed around with setting on my computer- no go). The videos load slower, it's not very user friendly, and the rating system is soft and weak (puny rating system! Hulk smash! ). When I give someone a bad rating, I want to see it. If a video sucks hard, I want to know before clicking it, not click on it only to find myself punching my computer because the video pig-blapped me in the face (well, that's how bad videos feel like). In short, the format bothers me. I'm all for change, but only if it is a change for the better. This is a step backward.

I'm more pissed about the Hitler memes being gone.

Yea, Youtube has become weird. Vevo pisses me off, with its commercials.

Yeah, I don't care much for Vevo. I make a point not to click on those videos, along with the so called "featured videos" which tend to be the worst videos on the internet. It seems like Youtube is trying too hard to be Hulu, but without the quality showings.

Now, I won't know which video is bullshit due to Google's choice to change the star rating to some bullsh-t "Like or Didn't Like" system?

I know, right? I've taken to ignoring "Featured Videos" since they tend to reek of the most utter shit to begin with (some of those vids, they might as well be showing an abortion, they suck so much).

Yeah I think it sucks too.

Forgot to mention one of my biggest peeves, I'm noticing more videos not having the favorite option. The dates of responses aren't there and the vagueness of "like it" or "dislike it" sucks.

Nowadays all they think about is the business plan they eventually came up with, not at all about the Average Joe users.

^ Point. Vevo, amongst others, give them more money than ads, so they're going that route. Which, not surprisingly, gives us more ads/commercials.
