That's what I was thinking myself but I'm sure Aaron McGruder was influenced by it to make this happen. I wonder what Johnny thinks about this.

Fianly saw "The Red Ball" on youtube last night. It was good but I think as a whole the show's not as funny as I hoped, idk why. Maybe its just being trying too hard or something.

Did you see my post about it showing homage to Samurai Champloo's "Baseball Blues" episode? I think that's all Aaron McGruder wanted to do.

Yeah I heard about that episode and that show and Cowboy Bebop is what is part of the show's influences but it still doesn't really make me LOL much for the couple episodes I've seen.

I caught those as well as the leader of the group looking and sounding exactly like Redd Foxx! It was like watching a hybrid show of Sanford and Son with special Guest Jim Kelly!

I loved that Stinkmeaner's Crew was Red Foxx and Jimmie Walker. Who was the woman supposed to be. I think its the old lady from Sanford and Son.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well or maybe Mrs. Jefferson. I thought the one Guy was Jimmy Walker, but I was expecting him to say something similar to his Good Times catch phrase. So I started to second guess myself.

Saw the last bit of the most recent ep. Loved how the kid was frozen in chocolate like Han Solo with Carbonite.
