Survival of the fittest sigma round 1: VOTE NOW!

Shiny grinned as the pages of power slowly flowed into him. Matts wasn’t so sure of this he was promised a taste of the power.

“Dave it’s my turn…..” shouted Matts but Shiny just sneered and then laughed maniacally.

“Tools don’t get power….tools get locked into the shed once they are used!” cackled Shiny waving an arm which caused several magical chains to envelope around Matts.

“What the hell man I thought we were a team!” shouted Matts in horror as the chains tightened.

“You were a pawn….nothing more….” Grinned Shiny as the book fell down to the ground. The pages spilled out but they were now blank. Shiny grinned and then muttered “One page left to absorb and wouldn’t you know it that fool spider fan has it….”

Shiny waved his arm once more and the chains which bonded Matts enveloped around a tree. He struggled to get out but it was hopeless.

“By my calculations, the bender and the girlfriend stealer should be nearing this way….give them my love Matts MWAH-HA-HA-HA!”

“Shiny you rat bastard!” shouted Matts angrily thrashing against the tree.

“Oh no don’t call me Shiny anymore….I am the Ultimathule now….” Laughed Shiny maniacally as he disappeared leaving a very pissed off Matts to thrash at his chains.

It was then that Doug and Frozen showed up

“Err guys….” Sighed Matts pleadingly

“I take it Shiny has got the power of the pages now?” sighed Frozen as Doug removed the chains with his magic staff.

“Yes he has and we are all fucked boys…..” muttered Matts in horror.

And, now, for a battle (haven't done one of these in a while, but Dave put me up against the team I was most afraid of right off, so... here we go).

The Untouchables

vs

The Unyeilding

The battle begins inauspiciously for The Untouchables, as - once the two teams arrive on the battle grounds - Skywarp barely has time to shit himself when Omega Supreme fires a full force blast at him. Rumor says "Too bad the ground's turning to quicksand beneath your feet," and the Untouchables begin to sink. Rumor shudders and turns to Doom. Alucard recognizes the threat she poses, and fires a silver tipped round at her, but Superman reaches out to catch it. The bullet's mystical properties allow it to pierce his hand, nonetheless, and just as she says "Die" to Doom, under Shadow King's control, the round finds its mark in her temple, taking both Rumor AND Shadow King off the board. X-Man instructs Hiro to go back in time to save their teammates, but is horrified to see Hiro drop to the ground, a hole gaping in his chest where the Black Lantern Reverse Flash - having torn himself free of the quicksand - had ripped out Hiro's heart. X-Man tears Zoom apart on the molecular level, but his ring finds Hiro's finger, and as X-Man recovers from the exertion, Hiro teleports his sword into the mutant's brain for a quickie lobotomy before feasting on his heart.

Omega Supreme followed up his initial volley by vaporizing both Shade and Alucard in one, fell, swoop, but it only served to free the vampire, who was immediately engaged by Superman, recognizing the threat posed by the fiend. Omega immediately froze, finding his firmware being invaded by a foreign program. It hadn't taken Ghost long to phase out of the quicksand and identify the technological monstrosity as his easiest target. Superman, for his part, was being taken apart by a beast unlike any he'd encountered on his world - one of magic.

Ghost programs one last line of code before leaving Omega Supreme, and the giant Transformer grabs hold of the Black Lantern Hiro, Transforms, and rockets himself into the sun.

Down by three, the Untouchables discover that their team name may need some tweaking.

I totally didn't want to face this team, yet this will work pretty well.

I'm going to do something different, maybe give this an interesting spin. Let's do this "24" style (kind of).

And you don't have to read everything. The underlined times is where people actually get killed. The rest makes the story make more sense but you can pay attention to the large bold times and ignore the rest.

Superman sees a black streak coming towards The Unyeilding and comments:
"There's something moving fast towards us. I'll deal with it."

He then streaks off to deal with it.

At the same time, Hiro instictively freezes time, but leaving his teammates free to move around with time frozen. X-man becomes aware of The Shadown King and, heads him off by dragging him into the Astral Plane to do battle.

A black and silver streak races across the plain toward The Unyeilding. The black lantern Flash, hungry with the promise of hearts raves towards the opposing team. Suddenly, a crimson streak tackles the speedster. Superman, born of Future Earth unleashes blows of resounding force. He realizes that he is dealing with a creature unliving and parasitic and incinerates with his heat vision. As he starts to rise into the air, he notices that it is reforming. He unleashes a blast of heat vision, only to see it reform. Superman looks over the horizon and sees a blackness spreading forth. He tries to call mentally to X-man, who had linked them all mentally, but remembers that he was battling The Shadow King onthe astral plane. Superman realizes that such a thing needs to be removed from the field of battle and races back to get Dr. Doom.

Superman arrives as Dr. Doom notees that "there is a diabolical presence and yet another evil one. They have shown immunity to the time freeze. I can handle one, maybe both." Superman grabs Doom and takes him back to the reforming mass. Superman blasts it with heat vision again, concerned by the approchaing blackness in the sky. Doom creates a spell to banish the creature into "another realm".

Superman takes Doom back to the party, and instructs Omega Supreme to head over to the Untouchables stronghold and take out the remaining people he noted with his Super-vision. Omega Supreme blasts off as Superman goes speeding with full, unrestrained force into the black mass in the sky. He notes all the eyes and remarks to himself how ugly it is. Superman streaks here and there, slowing down and speeding up to create sonic booms as a means to disrupt the mass. He continues this, hoping it distracts him from Omega Supreme and his group.

Omega Supreme blasts towards the Untouchables stronghold, recognizing the signature of Skywarp and plans vicious devastation for him. He recognizes a faint and unusual signature, like one of a someone intent on masking their presense. Hiro sits quietly, maintaining his hold on time, as Rumour keeps mentioning how she "heard that he can control time without limit". She notes that the black mass is moving slower than before as she looks out the window.

The Shade appears a few yards away from Dr. Doom, who is sitting down, meditating. He thinks how easy this will be. Suddenly, he is surrounded by a mystical energy. Dr. Doom stands up and blasts him. The Shade smiles, seeing how the blast did not hurt him, but then he starts to feel weak. As he collapses, he hears Doom mentioning how he had been creating "a powerful binding spell" since Shade draws his power from a source, and thus "it can be taken away". Doom then proceeds to blast Shade into oblivion and teleports his remains deep into the ground. He looks over the horizon and sees Superman battling the large black mass which he identifies as Alucard, and starts working on a banishing spell, for both Superman and Alucard.

Omega Supreme and company are still en route. Hiro is still maintaining his freeze on time.

Superman is still battling Alucard, but is weakening by the minute. The jeers of Alucard enrage him and keep him motivated and focused. Alucard notes how much he wanted to fight in his normal form, but "when time itself starts fighting you, then it's time to be a little more serious".


02:21
Omega Supreme readies his cannon and blasts Skywarp into oblivion. He blasts Ghost, but the blast passes through him. He tries to smash Ghost, only to recieve a shock that causes massive feedback, staggering and injuring the giant. This breaks Hiro's concentration, releasing Ghost. He sees the angry giant machine and sees two relatively normal people points a gun at them, telling Omega he will "blow them away" if he takes another step. Rumour mentions how his gun doesn't work, and suddenly it starts to spark and fizz. Ghost realizing what her powers may be, fazes into the ground and then reappears behind her. Hiro then tries to attack him with his sword. It fazes through him as he blasts Hiro, who is sent flying into Rumour. The hilt of the sword hits her in the head, making her woozy. Hiro is killed by the blast. A hurt Rumour mentions that she "heard that his armour doesn't work". Ghost suddenly becomes tangible and is blasted and smashed by a still staggering Omega Supreme. Rumour then passes out.

Dr. Doom is sitting, meditating, as Alucard shows up before him. He tosses the lifeless body of Superman, noting that "he was fun". He comments on how he would have turned him into a faithful servant but that would be "a bother". An arm, amongst the blackness appears and fires a gun. The bullet stops in mid-air, held in place by the spell Doom has created. He set up a barrier that was activated by Alucard's presence. Doom notes how he "has battle Mephisto in his own realm without being defeated" and thus Alucard stood no chance. He shouts a spell as Alucard smiles and rushes at him. A large explosion of black and white occurs. Alucard is gone, Doom, still there, is barely alive. He comments on what great evil Alucard is and breaths a sigh of relief as X-man reappears. As Doom loses consciousness, X-man, reading his thoughts, makes note of how much better the team would have to do.

Conclusion:
Mephisto stares at the Black Lantern ring from Black Lantern Flash who appeared suddenly in his dimension and contemplates uses for it.

My other write-ups will be much smaller than this. This was for fun.

The Gate of Valour vs. Heaven's Sorrow.

Superman Prime swoops in, grabs, and throws Juggernaut into space, leaving Juggernaut unable to do anything or takepart in the battle.

Dr. Fate engages The Nothing in a mystic battle, Silver Surfer as the Keeper, with combined powers of the power cosmic and the powers of Quasar, attacks Mumrah, as Martain Manhunter, attacks Exar Kun, Vegeta, and Ronan the Accuser (who questions his role on this team of villains seeing as how he is truly a hero) with ease. Superman remarks that Martian Manhunter has affected a planet with his mid so this is easy street for him.

Manhunter's attack causes them to attack sluggishly and with some, such as Ronan, not at all. Nova, attacks Ronan, beating him easily, as how Manhunter's attack left him unable to use his hammer or even fight properly. Exar Kun starts to break free of Manhunter's hold, only to be attacked and subdued by Superman Prime. Superman Prime commentss how powerful Exar Kun is with his trademark smile but notes that "he didn't stand a chance against someone who has defeated a sun and can alter reality itself".

Kilowog gets tossed back by Vegeta in saiyan mode, had shrugged off some of the mental attacks from Manhunter. Superman Prime lends a hand, finally defeating Vegeta. Fate, who had joined Silver Surfer and Nova in battling Mumrah, after the Nothing had been defeated, creates a spell that weakens Mumrah. Mumrah, even in his ultimate form, is outnumbered and over-powered and thus is defeated.

Juggernaut is suddenly snatched from space and crashed into the ground. Superman engages him in a fist-fight as Dr. Fate creates a spell to block Juggernaut from his otherwordly energies. He is thus weakened and thus beaten by the combined might of the The Gate of Valour team.

The Gate of Valour stand and wait for the next challenger.



I tried to make it short! The next one should be shorter.

Masters of the Multiverse vs The Order of Chronal Defenders 4.0

Mad jim Jaspers, since he can warp reality on a multiversal scale, snaps his fingers and kills everyone on the other team by ripping apart their molecules.

Hey you wanted short,right?



More? Ok. More then.

Darkseid kills Invisible Woman, B'Wanna Beast, Toph Bei Fong, and Angela with the Omega Effect, having used his telepathy and telekinesis to hold them in place. Also, he sees them by reading their thoughts, making Invisible Woman's invisibility useless. Yoda is spared since he saw it coming but it turned to dust by Barragan Luisenbarn's absolute control over time. Yoda's connection to the Force is severed by Mad Jim Jaspers who could have sworn he snapped his fingers to be them. Ultimate Loki and Dr. Doom destroy Sonic with a blast of magic and energy. Sonic is defeated, having been infected and thus weakened by the transmode virus, thanks to Magus.

Winner: Masters of the Multiverse

^ I'd offer another view of that.

Yoda uses the force to make Mad Jim Jaspers get distracted of seeing what he hasn't done with his powers yet (As a reality warper that could last days). Sonic outruns Darkseid's omega effect and Toph metalbends Magus' body to keep him distrtacted. Invisible Woman uses her force field powers to blow Barragan's brains out. Angela attacks Dr.Doom and is nearly killed before she rips his throat out. Ultimate Loki conjors a dragon but B'Wanna Beast merges it to Yoda and Yoda kills Loki. Darkseid's OE latches on to Magus and that kils him while Toph, Sonic, Angela, Dragon Yoda, Invisible Woman and BB gang up on Darkseid. Darkseid kills Sonic but then Yoda forces his next blast into his own eyes, evaporating his eyesockets completely. Angela and Bwanna Beast rip his arms and legs off and Yoda kils Jaspers by slicing his brain out.

Well the way I do this is results are on friday and then I do another round on monday

So as far as the matches go and sorry in advance that I don't go into more detail I'm writing both future episodes of the story and a blog at the same time but....

Agents of rage vs Anvils of war: The anvils crush 50 per cent of the agents but have a fight on their hands facing atrocious, voldemort and frankensteins monster. Aizen, the master and prometheus argue over who is the better strategist and they get struck by avada kadavras from voldemort. Darkseid tears the monster limb from limb and apocalypse is done in by atrocious after an epic battle. This leaves darkseid and thanos alone. But they are proper hard bastards and just (I repeat just) beat the remaining agents.

The blades of fate have no chance against Armour so lets skip that one...

Now this fight however...

The reality rapers vs requiem

rassilon starts this one off alone. He uses his weird lightning glove thingy against sidious and is fried by sidious. Red jack and the candlemaker spring from the weird imagination of grant morrison and torture doctor impossible to death but not before he takes our both of them with a reality grenade. This leaves the reality rapers with three members but man what members they are. Prime rips deathstroke limb from limb as punishment from the writer for killing Ryan choi. Kid buu eats owlman but is absorbed by the magus. Before the technarcy can celebrate however the anti monitor appears and kills the rest of requiem.

As for the Reality Rapers vs Requiem? I see it going down like this:

A lone man walks into the basement home of a being that has caused so much destruction through the multiverse his name is spoken of in only whispers of fear: Superboy Prime.

"Who the hell are you? You walked into the wrong basement you wrinkled old bastard!!"

"There is much hate in you. Good."

"What the hell are you talking about old man?"

"Your anger serves you well, let it fester, feel it flow through you."

"I do that on a daily basis pal, so what else is new?"

"You will make a fine apprentice, and together we will rule the universe."

"Not on your life"

Superboy Prime Readies himself for battle, just as a boom tube opens, bring the rest of Requiem into the fray. Having been monitored by the Anti- Monitor, Prime's basement is torn asunder as the god like being, and the rest of the Reality Rapers materialize. Prime starts after Sidious, and cuts himself in half on Sidious's lightsaber by flying into it at light speed. The Deathstroke and Dr. Impossible engage the Anti-monitor, each fastening a boom tube generator to his four limbs. Dr. Impossible triggers the boomtubes, ripping the Anti Monitor apart, and causing a massive explosion. Sidious, the Candlemaker, Red, Jack, Deathstroke,and Dr. Impossible are all consumed in the ill conceived attack.

Owlman, Sinister, and the Magus now stand against Kid Buu and the Rasillon. Sinister Orders Kid Buu to kill the Rasillon. Kid Buu complies and absorbs Rasillon. Sinister then orders him to sleep, and the remaining members of Requiem abscond with Kid Buu, leaving him in the care of Owlman, to find a way to use this monster to their best interests.

Anakin's medichlorians let him be protected against Molecule Man and so Anakin slices MM into many pieces. Red Hood disables Dr. Dooms's tech weapons and Raven beats him in mystic arts. She finishes him off by encasing him in his armor like a statue. Nemesis Kid targets Mr.X and he can't focus his psi powers and he breaks his neck. Tai Lung and Bullseye fight till both are near death and Bullseye is paralyzed by Sasuke. TL mauls Bullseye to death. The Master hypnotizes RH and RH attacks his teamates and kills Tai Lung and his remaining team knocks him out and then they kill the Master. Nekron appears and turns Tai Lung and his fallen team into Black Lanterns. Anakin stops the BLs from coming and Raven uses her powers to pull the BLs in her cloak to be swalloed in her inner abyss (like The Shade in the Starman 81 BN tie-in) and Anakin, Raven and Nemesis Kid combine their strength to break Nekron's hold on the world of the living and send him back to his realm.
