I tried to get into it and while they have some good jokes once in a while, it's based too much on the gamer crowd.

Penny Arcade is ok. Like Spidey said a little to genre specific. Right now I'm reading Scary Go Round by John Allison. It like it a lot. Lots of achived material to get through so you can really see how the webcomic really starts to come together the farther along it goes. OH what the hell, here's a link:
