So There's This Baby....

....Who will be born in a week from tomorrow. So because of my wife's gestational diabetes, the doc put her on insulin. So instead of the first week of July being the due date, he has changed it to June 23, which is now next Wednesday.

So next Tuesday is our last visit to the clinic before he decides to admit us in that night or go home and come back the next day. And he will tell us if she is going to be doing a natural birth or if he has to do a c-section. We are both praying for natural since she doesn't want to be cut up...

So she's coming early at week 38 and I cant be more than thrilled. Please do a PoP! prayer for us next week and hope that everything comes out for the better.

Also, yes I will be posting pictures of the kid on twitter, facebook, text messaging everyone that I have on my phone, and if I can and they allow me, call in for a PoP! voice message when the baby comes out.

She's a pretty rational woman, but with things involving child birth a lot of women feel really bad when things go wrong. Even when there is nothing they can do about it. Just a heads up. I hope everything goes perfectly for you two.

Aw dude, that sucks. I was actually a twin, but the cord was wrapped around my sister's neck and well, it didn't work out well. Glad you fared better.

Good luck and don't worry! 38 weeks is still considered term and baby will be just fine My first was born at 36 weeks and was perfectly healthy. And unless the baby's breech, they will likely try to have your wife go natural. Hope everything goes well for all of you!!!
