The Death of Dracula (one-shot)
I really liked this. The writer, Victor Gischler, did a great job of introducing this underground world of vampires within the Marvel Universe. We meet all the different vampire sects by way of them getting together for their every-century meeting. I like that some of the groups are completely different physically from each other, we even got to see the Atlantian vampires we're gonna see in Namor's new book. Then the Dracula family, his sons Janus and Xarus, got some really good characterization. A lot of crazy twists and turns in this story. Looks like the vampires are poised to make a big move in the MU coming up and this was a great set up for that.
The art by Giuseppe Camuncoli was fantastic too. He did some really detailed work and captured the action and facial expressions nicely. If you're a fan of vampires at all then I think you'll like this one-shot. Whether Marvel is just trying to cash in on the latest Hollywood vampire craze or not, this is a good premise and has some solid potential.
