I went in expecting one thing from this book, and got something totally different, and I loved it! Jason Aaron is easily one of my favorite new writers so I expected this to be good but I kinda expected your standard street-level story. Instead we got a pretty wild adventure with some very interesting concepts, that's exactly what this new "light-continuity" Astonishing line should be like. And I loved the dynamic Aaron displayed between Pete and Logan. Andy Kubert's art was also very well done. Overall a very refreshing start to this series, with a ton of potential. Looking forward to see where this goes. Smile

It's a 6 issue bi-monthly mini.

I finally got around to buying this and I have to say that I liked it. It wasn't what I was expecting at all, but it was still a fine comic.

I'm really suprised by how weird this story is. I'm liking what's happening in this book so far. Is this in continuity?

Love this book. Why? Doom the Living Planet and Phoenix Force bullets. Yes you read that right lol. Jason Aaron is tapping into his inner Warren Ellis here with these crazy concepts! And his characterizations of Spidey and Logan are spot on. Spidey being the down-on-his luck hero trying to save a doomed planet, and Logan being the reluctant hero that ultimately wants to save the day.
