Titans' Raven getting a tv show

Raven may have TV show before Wonder Woman.

Variety reporting that the CW is looking to replace Smallville with a live-action show starring Raven aka Rachel Roth of the DC’s Titans.

Variety says Diego Gutierrez, who was co-exec VP on “V,” is writing and produce.

Variety says, the “Project has a script order at the CW through Warner Bros. TV and DC Entertainment.” The rumored but yet confirmed Wonder Woman TV project being developed by David Kelley has yet to find a network.

Why Raven? She’s young. Has powers. Connected to a demon. Possibly they see a it playing like Charmed or Buffy.

My question is, what actress would be able to play a good Raven?

Yeah. It'll probably become like Charmed, while trying to be Buffy.

If you're going for DC sorceress, go for Madame Xanadu. Now that's a rich mythos. Heck, even Zee would be damned cool.

Well I'm on board. Raven was always my favorite and she was why I started buying the comics. So I'll watch it, even if it does suck.

I just hope it isn't, like, the Birds of Prey fiasco mixed with Charmed and the Dawson's Creek drama of Smallville. Don't know much about the character other than from the cartoon Teen Titans, but I'm open-minded. Good's good.

It could be good. Raven does have good story potential. She's a child of and darkness and is always seeking balance in her life.

I'd watch it.

Meh. If this comes to fruition I don't see it lasting long. I'd be shocked if it lasted a whole season.

Why, oh why can't we get a Green Arrow spin-off of Smallville?

I can see it having more of a Vampire Diaries/Supernatural kinda vibe to it.

Hopefully they can pull it off.....nevertheless I'll give it a chance though.

I think it could if they put Black Alice in it. She stole her powers as well as many others and thrown in some Birds of Prey. Maybe just Black Canary.
