2nd Annual PoP! Play-off pool!
This is a whole new pool that anybody can join. They NFL play-offs are upon us in preperation for Super Bowl XLV, and we get another chance to see how well the PoP!ulation is at picking a winner.
This will work slightly different than the weekly pool. There will be no featured game and for all games we will pick the total points scored.
So how do you get your points?:
1) You get 1pt for picking the winner of the game.
2) You recieve 5 points for picking the exact score.
3) 4pts for being within 2 points of the total score.
4) 3pts for being within 5 points of the total score
5) 2pts for being within 10 points of the total score.
6) and 1pt for trying. (those are for me and Tweed Thong)
7) 5 bonus points for picking the superbowl champ and their opponent this week.
Example: Colts over the Jets total points 47.
Okay If you want in on this all you have to do is post in this thread the winner and total points of each game for the wildard week by friday at midnight. (I think all games are played on the weekend in the play-offs.) I will also post their regular season road and home record along with overall record.
Wild Card round of the playoffs:
AFC
NY Jets 11-5 (Road 6-2) @ Indianapolis 10-6 (Home 6-2)
Baltimore 12-4 (Road 5-3) @ Kansas City 10-6 (Home 7-1)
NFC
New Orleans 11-5 (Road 6-2) @ Seattle 7-9 (Home 5-3)
Green Bay 10-6 (Road 3-5) @ Philadelphia 10-6 (Home 4-4)
