The people handling their call line are great. I called for info about AA a while back and the woman who helped me could not have been nicer.

I should start looking into this. Don't think I'll splurge on a fancy VIP ticket like I did with Chicago though.

The guys at Reed Exhibitions are great. They are in tune with what fans want and they like to do things BIG. If I can I would love to go to C2E2.

Over in NYC with NYCC still over a year out, the guys at Reed are holding small events to keep fan interest up. They have a monthly Happy Hour at Dave and Busters, a One Year Out party next month, and they are host a screening of LOTR with a live orchestra playing the score at Radio City. They learn from their mistakes and listen to fans/artist/exhibitors.

Tough call. I've seen pics of the Obi-Wan statue from a few different angles and he looks strikingly cool. Slave Leia I haven't seen before now, but looks pretty neat from that pic.
Between the two, I might lean towards Obi-Wan because I like how majestic he looks, and being available longer, can probably be had for less than an eye-gougingly high price.



I think the Boba Fett is pretty awesomely bad ass too...

That can't be the convention rate? That's more than any hotel during SDCC or close to it.

Nah, I'm sure Reed will reserve a block of rooms and get a lower convention rate. But either way, expect your bill from the Rosemont hotels to look quaint compared to Chi-city hotels.

Forget getting my name in lights on the big board, a room discount is the Founders perk I want....

Depending on convention rates I may end up staying closer to Grant Park and cabbing to the con/hotel bar.
