My C2E2 status update:
Spoke to my Forman today and told him about my plans to go to Chicago in April. I gave him a little song and dance about how I know I'm not allowed to take days off until May and I'll do what tyhe company asks without any fuss. He told me to write a letter with all the details and it will be passed on to the General Forman for approval. My forman said the GF is pretty good with working thing out for people as long as there are no marks on your record. I am clean.
So I'll be submitting my request tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed but I think my chances of going increased.

Chances of me going are about 35 yea to 65 nay. I need to make sure I'll have enough for the trip and hotel AND for food, books, and other cool shit.

Lee...I actually have to wait until June before I can take vacation. Its a union job and there are a ton of rules.
If I do go I'll be flying in Thursday night or Friday morning and leaving Sunday afternoon.
