I totally understand not finding it arousing. But it takes all kinds. Obviously, if it's simulated, no one is doing it against their will.

I'm steadfast in my opinion that if it's consenting adults, within the confines of the legal system, play ball. While the argument evolved into me seemingly defending rape (or that it's somehow my bag), that's not the case. I just don't appreciate someone casting stones at another's fetish, because I wouldn't want those stones coming in my direction. We've all got SOMETHING sexy that might not be considered "the norm".

Well yes, the actors are just playing a part. The thing that's scary to me is that a number of people watching this porn are needing to believe it's real, needing to believe she's really screaming in fear and pain. As a chick I find that fucking terrifying. I'm not saying that everyone who watches rape porn will want to go out and rape a woman, it's just unsettling to think that some guys get off on it.

I may be naive, and I have no idea what the thinking process is for fans of simulated rape, but I'd hope a majority of them aren't kidding themselves or NEEDING to believe it's real.
