I just finished watching the 2 seasons of the Hulk 90's cartoon. The first season was pretty good, the second season had intresting ideas, but they didn't use them to their fullest capacity.

This is what I've been thinking:Jherek wrote:
Just out of interest Aussie what's your theory? I won't spoil and say if you're right or wrong but I'm intrigued cos some of the theories I had while watching the seasons changed as it went along, some turned out right and some proved to be way off. Lets hear yours.

- Spoiler:
It's not necessarily about where it's all headed but it's about Baltar. I think he's God (to the cylons that is). I think he's not just a cylon but he's like their creator. I keep coming back to the fact that he's been showing up in Number 6's (Caprica's?) head the same way she was showing up in his. I just can't see how that can be happening unless he's right in there with the cylons somehow. Actually, I kind of found it funny in season 3 when Baltar was often talking about thinking he was a cylon - I kept saying I'm with you Baltar, I think it too. But like I said I think he's more than a cylon - he's the creator.
I was looking at that the other day. I haven't even seen the movie that leads into this yet. I'd actually be up for buying the original Clone Wars box-sets cartoon, but they're hard to find.supervenom wrote:Star Wars Clone Wars season one. awesome.
Aussiemandias wrote:Just finished watching The Wire - Season 2 and absolutely loved it yet again (the first season blew me away). This is a fantastic show and probably my favourite cop show since Homicide:Life on the Street. I just love the complexity of it, that it's focussed on one case (or a series of interconnected cases) and that that characters seem so real (at least they do to me). I also really enjoy the fact that everything isn't all neatly wrapped up in a bow by the end.
Was looking up some stuff on the show and was really surprised to find that the guy playing Stringer Bell is English. Would not have guessed that.
I knew about Dominic West but I don't think I've seen much of the Carcetti character yet. And Dominic West does a great job.Jherek wrote:
Yeah he's great isn't he? Dominic West (McNulty) and Aiden Gillen (Carcetti) are also English actors.
Love the Wire it just gets more and more involved as the seasons continue. The real star of course is the city of Baltimore.

I'd heard about that. Didn't know it was out. I might start hunting for that stuff.SexyToaster wrote:BlueMaxx wrote:I forgot about Gargoyles having a box-set. Did they ever complete the 2nd season? Goliath Chronicles?

That sucks. They've done that to a few things I've wanted to complete. Sliders season 5, the last season; Upright Citizens Brigade season 2, the last season; and Pete & Pete, I believe.Batman25JM wrote:BlueMaxx wrote:I forgot about Gargoyles having a box-set. They never did release the second volume of season 2 or a set for season 3 (Goliath Chronicles). I am still pissed about it.
I never got into. Seems like a good show, just not for me--if that makes sense. I know that a few on here watch it. I think Batman25 and Kearstin like it.Tomer Soiker wrote:No one here talks about Mad Men so I won't even bother starting a new thread, especially when Season 3 just wrapped up.

So is that basically one big storyline over the season?SexyToaster wrote:I recently watched the first season of the show "Damages". I thought it was a pretty good suspenseful thriller. The cast is really good too.
Think I'll have to check this show out.Tomer Soiker wrote:No one here talks about Mad Men so I won't even bother starting a new thread, especially when Season 3 just wrapped up.
When it started I had a few doubts and was afraid it won't be good as the previous seasons, but it turned out to be the best season so far. The big things to happen all through 1963 and especially in the penultimate episode, an event that pushed everyone to make huge decisions. If episode 12 was amazing, 13 took things two giant steps forward. The changes for Don in both family life and career will make for an interesting premise in Season 4.
If you've missed it, here's something I wrote about the show before the premiere of Season 3 back in August:

Yes, seasons 1 and 2 each deal with one huge case mostly. S1 was incredible with a few flaws, in S2 the flaws became too visible but all in all it was pretty good.Aussiemandias wrote:So is that basically one big storyline over the season?SexyToaster wrote:I recently watched the first season of the show "Damages".
