I just finished watching the 2 seasons of the Hulk 90's cartoon. The first season was pretty good, the second season had intresting ideas, but they didn't use them to their fullest capacity.

I was looking at that the other day. I haven't even seen the movie that leads into this yet. I'd actually be up for buying the original Clone Wars box-sets cartoon, but they're hard to find.

Las Vegas Season 3

Awesome. I LOVE this show. It's just pure awesome. It isn't a deep show, but it's entertaining.

Just finished watching The Wire - Season 2 and absolutely loved it yet again (the first season blew me away). This is a fantastic show and probably my favourite cop show since Homicide:Life on the Street. I just love the complexity of it, that it's focussed on one case (or a series of interconnected cases) and that that characters seem so real (at least they do to me). I also really enjoy the fact that everything isn't all neatly wrapped up in a bow by the end.

Was looking up some stuff on the show and was really surprised to find that the guy playing Stringer Bell is English. Would not have guessed that.

Yeah he's great isn't he? Dominic West (McNulty) and Aiden Gillen (Carcetti) are also English actors.

Love the Wire it just gets more and more involved as the seasons continue. The real star of course is the city of Baltimore.

I knew about Dominic West but I don't think I've seen much of the Carcetti character yet. And Dominic West does a great job.

I've been to Baltimore but I'm pretty glad I didn't see the side of the city depicted in The Wire.

I recently watched the first season of the show "Damages". I thought it was a pretty good suspenseful thriller. The cast is really good too.

I'd heard about that. Didn't know it was out. I might start hunting for that stuff.

Neat to see Robert Englund in this. Oddly, he would also be in a movie with Andrew Divoff (Mikhail from Lost) called Wishmaster, who was a big part of this second mini as well.
The alien babies were pretty hokey, but neat.

Two excellent shows. Great choices.

They never did release the second volume of season 2 or a set for season 3 (Goliath Chronicles). I am still pissed about it.

No one here talks about Mad Men so I won't even bother starting a new thread, especially when Season 3 just wrapped up.

When it started I had a few doubts and was afraid it won't be good as the previous seasons, but it turned out to be the best season so far. The big things to happen all through 1963 and especially in the penultimate episode, an event that pushed everyone to make huge decisions. If episode 12 was amazing, 13 took things two giant steps forward. The changes for Don in both family life and career will make for an interesting premise in Season 4.

If you've missed it, here's something I wrote about the show before the premiere of Season 3 back in August:

That sucks. They've done that to a few things I've wanted to complete. Sliders season 5, the last season; Upright Citizens Brigade season 2, the last season; and Pete & Pete, I believe.

I never got into. Seems like a good show, just not for me--if that makes sense. I know that a few on here watch it. I think Batman25 and Kearstin like it.

Yeah, there are quite a few shows that either have yet to be released on DVD or have a set or two out but aren't releasing more. The shows that I want them to finish releasing the most are the 2k3 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Joey, and The Practice. They put out 'volume one' of The Practice which was only part of the first season (I have heard they are going to release more). They released the first season of Joey, but have yet to release season 2 and their are no plans to. And the released the first two seasons, part of the fourth, and the fifth seasons of the 2k3 TMNT show, but they haven't released season 3 or half of 4 and they have no plans to do so.

TV show seasons you've finished recently - Page 2 Clash-Of-The-Gods

Clash of the Gods is basically segments of different mythologies put into documentation, with some very cool reenactments, I might add, when talking to professors and specialists in the field along with the narration. I so hope there are more seasons to come because there is so much to do, as far as all the mythologies. This first season was mostly all Greek (Roman): Zeus, Hercules, Hades, Minotaur (Theseus), Odysseus (Basically Homer's Odyssey & a two-parter.), and Medusa (Perseus). The other three were Beowulf, Thor, and Tolkien's Middle Earth (An abstract basis for this series but one of the more fun ones, none the less.). There are still a good few Greek figures whose stories can be told, not to mention mythoses who haven't even been touched on: Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, African, Native Americans'...even though the latter listed don't technically have gods, the series seems to just follow beings that are of deity status. So much to tell. Fun stuff. Set your DVRs, they play them all the time and there are only 10 episodes.

So is that basically one big storyline over the season?

Hex the first season

I borrowed this from a buddy and loved the first episodes. I was wondering why it wasnt a bigger hit in the states as I had never even heard of it(its a BBC show). After 4 great episodes the story got more and more soap opera-like and kinda fizzled. The lead chick sleeps with the demon that killed her best friend in episode 2 which was retarded. Theres a season 2 but 10 episodes was enough.

Yes, seasons 1 and 2 each deal with one huge case mostly. S1 was incredible with a few flaws, in S2 the flaws became too visible but all in all it was pretty good.

Just finished Season 3 of The Shield. I didn't think it was as strong as Season 2 but I still enjoyed it. In particular I loved the whole money train storyline. It was great to see the effect it had on all the guys and I kept having a flashback to that absolutely amazing scene at the very end of Season 2 where they all had this look on their faces where they weren't sure whether to celebrate or be scared about what they'd done. Great stuff.

Now on to Season 4.
