Dallas Comic Con

So... looks like this is the only decent con in my area for a while. Anyone been before? Anyone planning on going this year? The guest list isn't too impressive so far (although I do love Adam Hughes and Bossk). Any insight on how much it will improve before I pre-order my Celebrity Access ticket?

I know we've got a few Texans on these boards. Hopefully they can help out.

Dallas Comic Con is pretty cool but it can get crowded as hell. As for guests at the last show there was some guy named J Scott Cambell hocking calendars.

Well... I'm definitely going. The space does look a little cramped, but that's half the fun of cons. Just hope I can finish my Mando Armor before then.

I do hope they rope in a few more artists, though. I really want to start a She-Hulk sketch book.

I dunno'. Potatojoe totally blew me off last time and I don't think I can take that kind of rejection again.

I registered for the Dallas Comic Con message boards over a week ago. Still don't have access because their moderators apparently don't exist to approve new members.

I'll be there on Saturday for sure, Sunday depending if I can get the day off

AUGGHH! Between him and Adam West I really want to go, but my dad's birthday is that weekend. This could prove difficult to plan.

Ugh... looks like Alan Harris is coming off the list of media guests. He's likely the only one I would have paid for an autograph. It's looking less and less likely that I'll make it down there this year. Since I'll likely only get to go to one convention this year (well this year and next), I might try to go to one that has a bit more to offer.

Who knows... I'll keep watching this one the next few weeks to see how it grows.

I'll be there selling prints and doing sketches. I also have a supply of Dark Avengers and Marvel Presents (wasn't that the name of it?) sketch covers (although I only sell those with my sketches on them, character of your choice, so don't ask if you can buy one to go have Adam Hughes draw on. Unless you want to buy me an Adam Hughes sketch, too). :P

The venue IS a little small, but the promoters work hard to get good guests in, and the guests work hard to make it worth the while of the attendees. I attended every one of their cons last year and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I plan on being at every one they throw this year.

BTW, I'll be at both the DCC and C2E2, so if you miss me at one, see me at the other. I'm the guy with the big honking crusader on his banner. Oh, and I'm a hell of a lot cheaper than Adam Hughes (although he DOES draw boobies better than me). :P

Mike, you gonna hang with us at C2E2 or what?
