Like a lot of hardcore and metal, they take from all over. They have some thrash qualities to their sound too. But I'd definitely say hardcore more than anything. Just listen to hardcore of the early 80s, the sound, IMO, that made punk rock incredible.

wow, another BG fan. Very cool.

BG is amazing, I got a chance to see them 4 years ago when they came though Vancouver. Hansi Kürsch is one of my favorite vocalists of all time.

oh very cool. Yeah I heard of them through a friend of mine since we both bonded on DragonForce nearly a decade ago while he was stationed in London.

Dragonforce is another awesome band I've seen live. Herman Li is such a savage guitarist. I thought Ultra Beatdown was a pretty fucking sweet album.


I'm on a Power Metal binge right now. Blind Guardian, Power Quest, Kamelot, Hammersfall, anything epic.

Saw DF twice in one year. I'll have to take a pic of my ticket signed my Li.
