Never been so down and out. Guess I got the...

So, my phone service was shut off today. I've come to consider my BlackBerry as an extension of my body. Needless to say, I'm very unhappy. The job hunt is not going well, and I just don't know what I'm going to do. I've applied at a bunch of places, using my mobile number as the means to contact me, and now the number's inoperable. FUCK BALLS! Sorry for the Debbie Downer Diatribe, but I needed to vent.

I on the other hand just got a job interview and am currently making a killing on ebay so yeah things are going great for me!

Hope is alive out there Trip, you're too good of a person for hope to ignore, just doesn't work that way. Even though you are down and out, there's always light at the end of that dark tunnel..believe me I know. Can't tell you how many dark tunnels I went threw (insert perverted joke). Thanks, Pete. Not having money certainly pales in comparison to what you and many others have gone through.

When I feel bad, I remind myself that there are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do

I know its not for everyone, but giving to charity makes me feel better about myself.

No worries gorgeous, the job hunt will end and you'll find a great job and once that happens, I'm sure sooner the later, once you get that job, they are going to know that they hired a great person, then I get to say I told you so to you..

Don't worry something will turn out for you...have you tried follow-up calls to the places you applied to?? Have you tried a temp agency or anything like that?? I know no money super sucks.

aww sorry to hear that trip....have you considered putting ur fone on a pay as u go? no data plan jsut straight calls and or text? that might give u some chance getting ur messages from work places?

Thanks! So many people are out of work right now that most places specifically say "no calls." I guess companies don't want to be inundated with phone calls from people. Definitely trying temp agencies (as I type, no less).

I have several! I didn't know until recently that resumes should be tailored to the jobs for which one applies. I thought that was only cover letters. My friend in HR has been very helpful. What kind of jobs are they, Pete? And THANKS!
