All in one day, I have my 8 yr old say that I'm old and a 17 yr old co-worker tell me she would love to have me as her dad.
I'm only 33 yrs old. Huge heaping piles of WTF! Anyone else going through this crap?

I just turned 33, and my four year old daughter called me old yesterday. I'm looking forward to embarassing her as a teenager by trying to talk "hip" in front of her and her friends.

I guess it wouldn't bother me so much if I actually didn't feel old lately. I've been working my baguettes off (70+ hrs a week, no days off) and I just feel run down.

I'm 36 and feel old. I really didn't start feeling old though until 35. It happens. You get over it.

I think my soul is older than my body and I'm grumpier and less energetic than people I know my age. One co-worker jokingly calls me "grandpa" for that.

And now I just remember that last year some contractor at work brought his 13 years old kid with him, but he had to wait outside because minors are not allowed into the factory. He was annoying (like most kids) and looked younger than his age. We joked with him and helped him pass the time, when he started to ask our ages. One of my co-workers asked him to guess my age and he said: "36." *sigh*

Usually I pass as younger than I am and up to age 23 or so I was asked for an ID when buying drinks. But in the last couple of years - nothing. Maybe it's the facial hair. Yet, sometimes people that see me for the first time guess that I'm no older than 24. The 36 thing, though, was rare. Could be he saw into my soul? Nah, then he would've said "84."
