2010 Concert Thread

I might travel out of state to go to my very first concert. I'm not promising myself but I hope to see Lupe Fiasco in his "Steppin' Lasers" tour. If not, he'll come around again.

Just got my early father's day gift in the mail today. A concert ticket for Nas and Damian Marley, May 30th!!!

I saw Weezer on Saturday at the Borgota in Atlatic City. They where awesome. Same can't be said for the opening act. You know it is sad that when the opening act is preforming and people are more amazed by a persons shirt. One of the people I was with was wearing a Doug shirt with Doug dressed as Quail Man and so many people where excited to see it and even asked for pics of it. Now that is not a good sign for a band.

Might be going to Insane Clown Posse on Friday, and if they play "Miracles" I will shit a brick and leave that on the PoP voice-mail. Day after that is the Stellar Spark Summer Session at the Rave, with Basshunter headlining, could be cool. Other than that, looking forward to the new summer festival down here, called Verge, with Three Days Grace headlining the first day, and Weezer and AFI headlining the next. Looking forward to it.

Saw the Barenaked Ladies last night. They ROCKED!! They put on such a great live show. They do little jokey songs and bits in between the main songs. Just great stuff. Lots of fun.

Ingrid Michaelson, who opened for them, was great as well. She's is super funny, and very charming. I quite liked her music. I'll have to download some.

Seen The Scorpions play last night. Great Stuff!

Seeing Greenday next month. This will be the 3rd time, they've always put on an entertaining show thus far

I saw This Will Destroy You about a month ago and at the end of this month I'm gonna see Mark Kozelek

Just got tickets for Ozzfest in september.

Line up so far includes Ozzy Osbourne (of course), Korn, Muderdolls and Skindred.

Just got back from seeing Soul Asylum! It was a great show. The only thing that was kinda a bummer was that I was rushed leaving for the show(my buddy canceled on me last minute and ended up having my brother go along with me) and left the CD booklets I was going to see if I could get signed. Well I get there and half way through the opening act a lady from the staff working the show comes out from behind the stage and walks up to me and asks me if I wanted to go backstage and meet 'n greet with the band. I ended up declining the offer because I didn't bring anything to sign(the like 1 time I don't).

I'm fairly certain I'm gonna see the Nekromantix in September and then Electric Six in October.

I went to see the 2010 (season 9) American Idols live on July 3rd. It was great.

Went and seen Y&T last night. Great show!

Ordered my tickets today to see Weird Al Yankovic on 9/2/10!!

Going to see Horrorpops on October 27th

Just got back from seeing Billy Idol tonight. Such a great show!

I just scored tickets for Godspeed You! Black Emperor for march 28th. I'm so excited I jumped around the room.
