2010 Concert Thread

Any one planning to go to any gigs this year?

I've seeing Lamb of God tomorow (Job for a Cowboy are the support act).

I'm hoping to go to this years Download festival, AC/DC are booked as this years headliners

I want to see the Slayer/Megadeth tour but they arent coming near me

Next show I'm going to is Transatlantic in London. Giving Download a miss this year, the line-up so far is f*cking weak. The other 2 headliners are being announced (along with 5 other bands) on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath.

I keep checking all the concert sites but nothing is coming up anytime soon for my interests. TONS of acts will be coming around in the spring and definitely the summer though, so I plan on catching all of the shows then.

I tried to get Bon Jovi tickets for Joe Louis Arena in March when they went on sale in November, but by that evening, the only tickets left were extremely cheap ones (where I'd have been sitting BEHIND the stage seeing NOTHING) or extremely pricey ones.

I'd really love to see Megadeth, they're one of my favorites bands, but I don't care about the other bands they usually tour with and my fiancee doesn't want to see Megadeth in the first place.

I'm going to go see HIM in April. Other than that, I've got nothing lined up.

So far Pussyfur (Puscifer) March 11th. When Marilyn Manson go on tour, I'm getting tickets most likely as well. Always do for that band... unless it's too far.

Going to see REO Speedwagon, Styx and .38 Special on the 24th. This will be my 5th time seeing REO Speedwagon and the first for the other 2. Other than that nothing much until summer.

Rage Against the Machine, Aerosmith, Stone Sour, Lamb of God amd Five Finger Death Punch have all been added to the Download 2010 lineup

I'm going to see The Appleseed Cast in April. They are playing the albums Low Level Owl Vol 1 and 2 in their entirety. I can not wait.

July 12th-U2 at the Linc in Philly. 8th time seeing them. I was hoping to see Korn/Rob Zombie but I will be in Florida going on a cruise and then when I leave to come home, they will be in Florida, fail

I saw The Flaming Lips last night. It was pretty damn incredible.

Puscifer was good on Thursday.

Just got my tickets for Iron Maiden and Dream Theater in Chicago on July 18th! I can't Wait to go!

I'm going to see the Barenaked Ladies on May 12th.

I saw The Stranglers last night and I have tickets to the Download Festival,
I'm hoping that the Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper tour comes to the UK

That's only happening in Canada unless Rob hooks back up with Alice after he does Rockstar Mayham festival this summer with Korn.

Alice needs to team up with SOMEONE and get to DTE Energy Theater near Detroit. He always comes to Michigan but it's usually fairs or little clubs that are too far away from Lansing. You'd think he'd want to play in his hometown...

Scorpions & Ratt are touring the U.S. this summer together, I hope they go to DTE.

Anyway, bought my Iron Maiden tickets this morning. The Final Frontier 2010 North American Tour with Special Guests: Dream Theater !!

He hasn't really came back by me since I seen him in like 03. I wouldn't mind seeing him live again if him and RZ did a tour in the fall/winter this year.

I don't know about RATT yet , but The Scorpions are playing July 1st on one of the stages at Summerfest in Milwaukee WI. So I am going to go see them there.

Went to Earthday Birthday 17 in Orlando yesterday. It's the yearly festival put on by the local rock station, and this year SoulSwitch played the second stage, so PoP! Video Ninjas Jose and myself where there for 30 min of work and a day of getting drunk. The lineup was pretty solid, if it was 2001, but the place was fucking packed. Tits galore.
