#1 was a great read. Brill got the humor of the series down perfect, to the point that I was laughing as I read while hearing the voice actors in my head.

Same here. I could hear the voices perfectly.

Loved it. I can't wait for the second issue. Oh, and I'm THRILLED that this is now an ongoing.

I can't stop thinking about how much I loved the first issue.

My favorite parts were Darkwing's "I am the terror..." bit, which was always my favorite thing in the cartoon. I also loved Darkwing's arm transforming into the snake and then Launchpad.

I really really need to rewatch the series from start to finish. It's been years since I've watched it.

Finally caught the first ish today. I liked it alot but I was wondering, was DD's arm turning into different things a running gaga in the show? I liked the artwork alot and it kinda makes me wanna get back to watching the old series. I wish the opening had alittle more oomph though. I hope if this does good they'll make a Gargoyles series for older readers sometime since Boom! would seem most able to publish it.

Come to think of it, a new Fearsome Five would be cool. Darkwing could lock up the original members and the other crooks in St. Canard get worried with them gone, Darkwing will clean sweep the rest of them. In comes Taurus Bulba with Magica De Spell to form a new group with Steelbeak, Splatter Phoenix, and Cement Head. They take out Darkwing leaving the Justice Ducks to reform in hopes of saving him. However, Negaduck learns of this development and breaks out of prison with his crew. It leads up to a massive threeway dance.

Agreed. It was fun, but if the creative team is going to keep playing it safe then I'm not sure how long I'll stick around

Same here. I mean really? A one pae splash page of DD emerging onto Megavolt and no explanation as to why he chose to retire. I hope that's fixed within the first arc.

He quit because those robots came into production and wiped out crime. They mention that when he's on the phone with his daughter.

#2 was pretty good. The Flounder gag was nice, as was the Steelbeak fake-out. And man, Quackerjack took a level in badass.

"Guard flamingos!"

So, any guesses as to who's in charge of Quackwerks and spoke to Honker? I wanna say Negaduck, but that seems too obvious.
