I didn't see the film, nor did I intend to, but I just read a bit about it. MAJOR SPOILERS
Now, that COULD be a really powerful way to have ended a really great movie. Honestly though? I'm not thinking this movie lives up to that moment, and personally, it kind of sickens me. Anyone else?

- Apparently, after a long and emotional story of boy gets dared to date girl, boy falls for girl, girl finds out why boy dated girl in the first place (GOD I"M SICK OF THIS STORY) and boy and girl are both estranged from their families but manage to get back together... after all the standard tedium that is any chick flick, the boy (Pattinson) and his father (Pierce Brosnan) are on the verge of reconciling as the boy looks out the window of his father's office... in the World Trade Center, on the morning of September 11th, 2001.
