Earthquakes in Italy, Missles launched from Korea, and disturbing amounts of violence and shootings in the news.

Anyone else think this is the beginning of the end? :huh

I'm gonna go with Josh. Not to come off as naive, but this kind of stuff happens all the time, and yesterday/today it just cluttered a bit.

Although, I was pretty damned shocked to hear about the earthquake...IN ITALY!

The way I've always looked at it is that the end of the world will start real slow and pick up speed over time into one giant firey cluster fuck. I believe the entire time I've spent here on earth has been spent living through the beginning of the end.

The shooting range that I've visited once or twice had a double murder last night.

This is why I don't watch the news anymore, happy ignorance.

As a matter of fact I knew nothing of Korea's missiles or The earthquake until my parents came to the house and dumped all this shit on me in another attempt to get me back into "Christian Life". Whoa...this just slid into the religion thread...damnit.

This thread is where I found that out, and I still don't know any more than is in here frankly I don't care.

Eh, we still have the most ICBMs. And their location is constantly changing, although, I guarantee we have at least 48 parked between Japan and North Korea.

I believe there is a spiritual deficit here in the west, and yes, the shit-hitting-the-fan's been a long time coming. The main theme in George Orwell's "Animal Farm" is "power corrupts," and I see more examples of that every day than I care to - whether I'm looking &/or listening - or not.

I half believe that the world's ending, Well, a bit more than half. Enough to realize that if this is the end, I'm gonna live my life to the fullest. Screw the rules and all that so long as I'm happy when the end does come.
