And, my tax return for 2009 was half what it was for 2008, and I made almost twice as much in 2009. I shudder to think how small my 2010 return will be. Fuck the United States government.

And, I'm not going with the salary I have now. I'm trying to buy a house, and that's gonna be impossible enough, not to mention a little more important than a convention.

That's what I'm hoping to find out. It's my understanding from several people that the rooms are more expensive on con days, so I'm hoping I can snag a room the weekend as soon as they announce the dates and lock in a rate before the hotels can manage to jack the prices up. Will it work? I don't know. Worth a shot, though.

I'm up for a room share in 2012. We'd like to stay a week when we go so that we can hit the beach and the zoo as well. This trip is gonna be my gradjewation present.

i always had tha understanding that if u booked it right thru them, it was cheaper, thats what it said on their site. and when i actually looked up tha rates thru a couple hotels websites, they were more expensive. but i guess we'll have to wait and see. i guess since we wanna do some serious planning sooner than later, we should probably at least have a rough idea of who will be going. i dont know what tha PoP!crew has in mind yet, but i know Lee and Knize will be there so...

Seeing as how SDCC always falls on my wedding anniversary, I doubt I'll ever be able to go. Never say never, though.
