A couple I know got married at SDCC last year, they met at the con a few years prior. They worked their AA table Thurs to Saturday, then Sunday got married outside near the convention center. Day after they went to Disneyland. Such a geeky dream wedding!

My wife indulges my geekiness, and she's expressed interest in going to SDCC. So ya never know. She's deeply in love with Robert Downey Jr., so if he's there, that may sweeten the deal.

I think Dragon mentioned it earlier but it's definitely cheaper to go through the con prices than straight through the hotels. In some cases half price but not all hotels are like that. But if you do wait for the con discounts there's always a chance you won't get the hotel you choose. So a catch 22.

Moving on to WonderWoman and Dragon. Dragon you gotta go old school Luke Cage and wear the Tiara at least one day. That would be f'ing epic.

yeah tha con discount is usually pretty significant

i was thinkin bout og luke cage, but i just cant digg wearin a tiara lol. i would prefer go more modern, but og style is still a possibility lol. comicvine had some SDCC footage and somebody did that, it looked really good.

i've read a couple reports that next years 4day pass + preview nite was basically sold out on sunday of tha con. i think they need a new system.

I have no shot in hell but I'm going to at least send in an application for AA. I had fantastic luck with NYCC, might as well try for San Diego, too.

Confirmed, 4 day w/Preview night completely sold out. But there's still the 4 day non preview night available plus the individual days coming soon.

So who all went from POP? Looks like Hannibal did, as did I. I'll post some pics once I get over this blasted cold that my son and I caught Was surprised at how cool he was during the show and how easy things seemed to be so easy to get for the most part. Matty was it's usual mess, but I did the preorder voucher and picked my stuff up on Friday morning. I picked up Hasbro stuff on Preview Night and the rest I just walked up to the booths for the most part.
