nice haul, Dragon. I almost got Widow but said nah cause I just got 3 figures from ebay and didn't wanna pay 12.99 for her. Yeah, NYC comic store prices suck with these figures. 8 bucks isn't bad compared to that.

I don't have them yet, but I just went profoundly overboard on GI Joes... Hasbrotoyshop.com has the new Destro (with the minigun and briefcase of cash) so I ordered three of those and found three Shock Troopers on e-Bay for $30, buy it now, free shipping. So, for 60 bucks, I got 2 figures, three of each. It's really only about two dollars apiece above retail, and now I KNOW I've got the three each that I want, so, it was worth it.

Can't wait to show you all how this is going to play out...

Comic shop is holding BN: Scarecrow and Lex for me. They get in my hands this Friday.

So, I went to my local Toys "R" Us today for the first time in years (probably around 7 to 10 years). I was so excited that I might find some cool stuff. I was wrong. Their selection was crap. It was painfully bad. I was so disappointed. I ended up hitting Target and finally deciding to get this BC figure to go with my GA.

This is what I'm saying! There is nothing to not love about that figure (aside from the SLIGHTLY limited articulation).

For fans of GI Joe, it's even better. As generally useless as he was in a show that would never actually let a sniper BE a sniper, he still had a really neat icy cool demeanor and low gravelly voice. Then, when we found out he was actually afraid of the dark, it was pretty amazing.

Three Cobra Shock Troopers arrived today. Once I get my three Destros and get everything posed, you'll have pics out the ass!

Finally picked up Scarecrow and Lex. For Valentine's my in laws gave me twenty dollars to Amazon which turned into Marvel Select Wolverine in the brown costume, and the Humberto Ramos Green Goblin figure from a few years ago.

Ugh. HATE that MS Wolvie. Ramos GG FTW though!

I needed a wolvie, and that's my favorite costume. I'm trying to find a really good batman now too. The BN Batman is such a pos, and I want a good one.

It's sad, but there are no GREAT Batman figures short of one of the Minimates where the cape drapes around his whole body. I want THAT in 6" form, even if it renders him immobile.

IMHO, the best is the IC Batman... battle damaged and hunched over, ready to tackle any adversary.

As for Brown Costume Wolverine? FAR superior. He's shorter than most ML's and has a VERY Art Adams look to him. LOVE LOVE LOVE this figure.

That Wolvie is also one of the few ML's to have long, curved blades for claws, instead of straight pigstickers, which I've ALWAYS preferred

The ONLY thing I don't like about that Batman is that he's WAY too beefy

K Batman is too plain, to me, even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE that book

Batman and Son Batman made my list... but again... plain.

Aaaaaaand not a fan of the color scheme of Unmasked, so... no.

It just infuriated me... these poses are TOO STATIC for Batman

Trying to find a non-variant Superman that is decent s a pain in the ass too. I love All Star Superman but the figure from that series is one of the ugliest sculpts I have ever seen.

The Red Son Supes is amazing, but I want a classic Supes.

I'm also torn between New Gods Darkseid and the DC Superheroes one. Not really torn so much as don;t feel like ponying up the cash lol.

Yeah... I HAD to get the DCSH Darkseid. Too good. Managed to pick him up for about 25 on e-Bay. If you're patient, he should come around again.

For Superman? Justice. Period. I have the angry variant because my shop back home was mistakenly shipped an entire case. They knew they couldn't sell that many at a mark up, so they just priced them a buck or two above the MSRP, and I snagged mine then. I love it, and for someone who HATES Superman, that's impressive.

Fun fact... I've only EVER owned two Superman figures, both evil/angry: Justice and Hush
