I've been dying to go back to New Orleans. I need a job, I need a job, I need a job. Rargh!

Just got back and it was awesome. Met a bunch of creators like Phil Jimenez, Rob Liefeld, etc. And I got a Captain America sketch on a blank Avengers #1 cover by Ethan Van Sciver! Will show it off later.

Ethan is aces. Let's see that sketch!

I don't know about pros, but I've seen a few no-names in artist alley who color stuff, though mileage may vary when it comes to quality.

Another cool thing was that the guy who is playing John Stewart in the GL movie was sitting next to him the whole time he did my sketch! I'll post a few more pics later.

Laura Martin is a professional colorist that does color commissions at shows. Here's a White Queen she colored over Humberto Ramos.


Not sure what her rates are but that pic is aces!

Laura is probably the best person to go to, her work is phenomenal. I know Christina Strain also does con sketch colorings, and I think Beth Sotelo and Nei Ruffino do too.

Sweet! Laura Martin is probably my favorite colorist. If I ever see her at a Con I'm definitely getting her to color it. I hope the rate isn't too steep..
