RIP Dwayne McDuffie

No. Right after his birthday? Man.

My feelings are now leaning towards being glad that Milestone fused with DC mainstream. Especially Static. McDuffie is immortal-er.

This is who we lost today. I watched this today and it hit me really hard that Dwayne McDuffie is gone. I started crying. Comics needs more creators like this, and instead we lost one.

He seemed like a really good guy who just unconditionally loved the business, even if it treated him like crap. (Looking at you, DC.) Damage Control is classic, and his work on JLU superb. He will be missed.

This is truly shocking, I said "what the fuck" out loud upon reading this.



RIP, thank you for all the great comics and cartoons.

Same here. It made me feel sick when I heard the news. He was to young to leave us

so sad to see someone go so young. he was a great writter. he will be missed R.I.P.

This really blows chunks. I thought he was a cool guy that was being wasted on Justice League of America (The comic). I liked how he pushed for more diversity in comics (Wonder what he thought of DC's Brightest Day?) and if there were plans for a superhero or heroine that had Asperger's, i hoped he'd write it. It also sucks its from complications from a hospital, bad way to go. RIP man.

I love Static, but I'm hell of nervous that his new ongoing is written by the same person who wrote Teen Titans so terribly. I really hope DC does something to commemorate his memory in the book though.
