Wow, then I guess it was just a local f**k up but the audio was horribly off on tonight's episode. I couldn't even here the band playing correctly, I had to crank up the volume to 72 to hear the players talking but then the audience would clap and my ear drums would threaten to bleed!

The Digital Short, "High IQ", and Hader's Malkovich impression on Update were the highlights for me. The Big Love sketch was a one-joke premise, but I liked the impressions. Casey Wilson made a great Margene.

Last night's episode was a disappointment for me. It was clunky and awkward, Morgan didn't know any of his lines, and the laughs were few and far between.

It got a little better after Update. The skits that worked were despite Tracy Morgan and not really enhanced by him. I love his old skits and think he's great on 30 Rock, but he was pretty "one note" in his sketches.

I thought it was an okay show considering the host was Tracy (who I never found to be very good on SNL or funny in general). It was the first one I've watched in full in a looooooooooong time.
Yeah, Morgan comes from that mid-late 90s SNL era where everyone read from a teleprompter. The rest of this cast knew their stuff and he's staring offstage the whole time trying to figure out what to say.

Sadly, I think Tracy's character on 30 Rock isn't really a character.
