I've gotten into a few British television shows. Obviously, I am really into Doctor Who, but I got into two other shows that I think are awesome and it just so happens both of them were written by Steven Moffat.
The first one was Jekyll. This show was amazing. James Nesbitt was outstanding in the title role. I loved the differences in his appearance when he changed and the rest of the cast was very good too. I do have a question. Was that show only meant to be six episodes long? I gotta say, there were twists and turns in this that I did not expect and just loved. Awesome show and people should check this out. I mean, with only six episodes, it's short enough to check it out.
I liked Gina Bellman so much in her role as Claire Jackman, that I started watching Coupling and I gotta say, I really enjoy that show as well. Fairly funny situations and pretty crude in a lot of the jokes. I like the cast and was wondering if anyone else thinks that Sarah Alexander looks a bit like Billie Piper? Anyway, I'm almost done with the second season of Coupling and it's really very cool.
The next show I am going to check out is Spaced with Simon Pegg and I might also check out Primeval, but I wanted to start this thread as a way to get people's opinion on British television and maybe make some suggestions on some good television. Looking forward to seeing what people will suggest.
