I was just thinking and hoping that the next DC Universe animated movie would be a Batman/Bat-Family movie. The movie looks legen...wait for it...dary. Jensen Ackles as Red Hood and Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing makes me happier than I can even put into words. It's better than having sex with the hottest woman in the world as she feeds you pizza.

I fail to see the appeal.....

James Woods made a great Owlman. And Chris Noth was a really good Luthor. I also enjoyed William Baldwin as Batman. Batman is always a worry for me voice-wise. Kevin Conroy's voice is so ingrained in me as Batman that it can be hard to hear others voice him. This time around I thought they made a good choice. Oh, and Jonathan Adams' MM was great as well.
Andrea Romano is just awesome. She is by far my favorite voice director. If I see she's working on a project I know the voice acting will be good.
I loved Josh Keaton as The Flash, but I kept thinking of Spider-Man every time he talked.
I loved the design of Luthor's armor. That's the kind of thing that Lex should be wearing in the comics, not that gaudy green and purple thing.

Is Tim Drake going to be in the movie? There was a design that looked like him, but then that costume was in the memorial in the Batcave making it seem like it was Jason's. I wish Tim was going to be in it. He's one of my favorite characters, and I want to see him in animation again.

U sir have truly earned my vote for Biggest Fanboy. I think I'm going to send in my order to Amazon to pick up the movie.

I'm sure you'll hate it anyway because of your distaste for Morrison, but here are great excerpts from the original: (spoilerific)Batman25JM wrote:You know, I am VERY tempted to get the JLA: Earth-2 trade. Great review man, i totally agree. I really dug this movie. The action scenes, character designs and animation were all done very well. I liked the voice talent as well.
Now if only Marvel would step up their game with their animated DVDs.
