SDCC 2010!

Honestly there's a part of me that's terrified of SDCC. It just seems like SUCH a friggin' circus.

I might have gone five years ago but now? It's just way too big and focused on a lot of stuff I don't care about.

One day I'll do SDCC. It's a pilgrimage every comic book fan should try to do, but it is a huge circus. It's focusing less and less on comic books.

I'm going to try for C2E2 next year. I've never been to Chicago.

San Diego Media Con...I mean Comic-con is something you should all definitely try once. Don't be boring every year. Mix it up a bit.

SDCC isn't as bad as all that. PoP! will run it.

I mean if a big man like me can make it from one end to the other in less than 5 minutes more than 15 times on Saturday then you all have nothing to worry about.

So who is going to be the POP presence at SDCC.

I like Olivia but she'd be a horrible Fangirl of the month. She gets paid to pander to nerds. She isn't one of us.

Fuck comic-con. They have already sold out of 4Day passes with Preview Night. I'm not going to buy a fucking 4Day pass with no Preview Night.

Hopefully we'll be there or I'm going to be lowering the hammer on someone. I just put in yet another e-mail to the person temporarily handling the tickets. If I'm lucky I'll get a call, otherwise it's not going to be a good phone call. So who all is attending the con that's on the board so far?

Need to get the money first, hoping the four day pass will be there still at the end of October, very close rounding up that cash.

I bought my four-day pass (with preview night) in January or February of last year. Selling out this soon has to be a record.

Just bought my ticket! No biggie that I don't have preview night, but 4 days I'll be there!!

I hope there's some cool exclusives. That's one of the benefits of preview night, that and it's not super crowded.

I'm hoping to physically be there, but since Preview Night is sold out, I really don't want to have to stand in line for 4 hours for a Minimate 4-pack that may or may not be sold out by the time I get up to the register. If PN is "dead" [compared to the rest of the weekend], and I can get my exclusives taken care of ahead of time, so I can then enjoy the rest of the con [in costume], I'd love you forever.
