It may have died an empty shell it once was, but it brought many of us together. Let us mourn WUMB and share our favorite moments, shall we? *steps down from the podium, offering it to anyone*

My memory is finding a banner that said PanelsonPages.com and clicking it. Mostly because it had a red hulk threatning me if I didn't

Remember that one time LordD3r3k said he didn't like JSA #29 but I did, and then I was all like, "Pshh."

Heh. Good times.

Was it really popular? Wasn't it just some who thought it was kind of a neat idea, with really only 1 person going crazy over it and bashing mods for what seemed like attention?

in all honesty....i will miss the WUMB if it never comes back,it was where well basically i,that is "redbold" was born. i have always used this bright red font and bold letters, even on my myspace (yes i still have one) i used it as a way to just...express my anger, dislike, and utter distain for everything that made my blood boil. i would start with like one or two sentences, then just go into a rambling rant of what i didn't like,or what i was passionate about. at first it was comics,i mean if marvel pissed me off anymore i'd have had a coronary. then i "branched out" and found those blasted "pimp my stuff" and "whatever" parts...next thing i know i'm writing pieces of my ideas, making a colossal ranting thread (not self congraulatory at all it was more self cleansing and i believe for a time you guys liked it) i took random stuff or storylines from marvel and dc and made that "super hero downtime" which i must say i enjoyed, because again i thought you all enjoyed them so i guess i am saying i was writing because i wanted people to enjoy what i was saying/writing rather than just spewing off about "what pissed me off" that day. i changed from being passionate about stuff i disliked,to being passionate about people enjoying what i wrote. after a while....i guess that died off....like thundermatts has been saying,it just got full of i guess....well i won't call them idiots but it became liek a high school lunch room at times, and excuse me if i was wrong....but weren't we ALL geeks at one point? i mean we congregated to a friggin comic message board, trust me when i say the "chic, cool and hip" kids weren't all sitting at tables arguing about if unmasking spidey or making everybody and their momma a skrull were good ideas. so....i tried....in vain to keep at least MY little part of the WUMB alive...the part you enjoyed....the part that gave me my newfound passion. and it honestly didn't work,so i ducked out for a while, and tried to just do without my passion....and that was a mistake too. the events of the past couple months (which i could say go to look but it was ALL on wumb)have tought me,that ignoring your passion,is ignoring your life. and god/allah/poppa smurf/whoever decided to give me a not so gentle nudge to remind me of that. in fact...the last thing i believe i posted on wumb was "i've got writer's block"...that was true, until i decided to think about those fourms...all the friends i made, and the passion in my mind that wants to be creative. so this is MY eulogy to the wumb, but my rebirthing party....for good 'ol ranting redbold. thank you (due to the fact that this was entirely longer than i wanted,i won't post it in red Wink )

Oh ya. I remember that. That was stupid. I think Ska attacked for no other reason other than to show that you were...right. *subject change* Remember the awesome movie casting thread in the Whatever forum...heh. Yep.

I recall getting into a shouting match that Dr. Octopus was a greater enemy of Spider-Man than Hobgoblin and Sean had to separate me and the other guy.

I enjoyed the WUMB! I'm not going to front on it at all. Honestly, maybe some of Wizard's employees were douchey, but hell, even Spat tried making sure that the company's problems with fans were fixed. WUMB was my first message board (and really my only, aside from PoP, of course)

I mean, I think I was even going to get nominated for a WUMBie... Now what have I? WHAT HAVE I?!?!

Oh, PoP. Cool.
