Alright friends and neighbors, this is how POP! Reads works. The reading list rotates between graphic novels (TPB, etc.) and prose style novels (and/or short story collections) each month.
ROTATION SCHEDULE
Here's how the rotation will look:
January - Graphic Novel
February - Prose Novel
March - GN
April - PN
May - GN
June - PN
July - GN
August -PN
September - GN
October - PN
November - GN
December - PN
SUGGESTIONS
In the suggestion thread, you post what you might like to read for the upcoming month. For example, in January you would suggest various graphic novels to read. Like so:
Fables: Animal Farm - Bill Willingham
The Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes vol. 1 - Neil Gaiman
Kingdom Come - Mark Waid
After we get several suggestions, a poll goes up and we vote!
VOTING
A voting deadline will be announced when the poll goes up. After the deadline, VOTES WILL NO LONGER BE VALID.
DISCUSSIONS
The graphic novel discussion thread will appear in the Comics in General forum. The prose novel discussion thread will appear in the Literature forum.
HELPFUL TIPS
Please suggest stories that are collected in one volume. It makes it easier for everyone to find the book and enjoy it together.
You do not have to read the book to participate in the discussion, but hey, it helps.
If you have any questions about P!R, feel free to PM me. Of course you can refer back here at anytime as well. Unless I'm a total beast and I change everything.
