A Mount Clemens-based company has made such a monumental stride in grammar that one has to wonder how man has functioned for centuries without this development.
Sarcasm, Inc. has invented the "Sarcasm Mark," a new punctuation mark to express, well, sarcasm. Resembling something of an inverted at symbol with a period, the mark is designed to "tell them how you really feel," according to the company's Web site.
"Verbal questions, exclamations, and even sarcasm can be detected by a person’s tone, inflection, and volume. Written questions and exclamations have their own punctuation marks, sarcasm does not. The SarcMark is a solution to that problem," the site says.
A "lifetime use" of the Sarcasm Mark is only $1.99, and can be downloaded to your computer. Once it's downloaded to your computer, hit the Ctrl key with the period key to make one.
