Plot-

Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) is a driven, idealistic young college graduate who works as an intern at a record company. Aaron is given his big break when he is sent to transport flaky English musician Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) to a concert at Los Angeles' Greek Theater.

When I first heard about this movie I was definitely curious about it, but since watching the trailer a few days ago I've all but lost interest in it.

I wish it had more compelling stars. While I like Jonah Hill as part of an esemble (Knocked Up, Superbad, Funny People), I don't think he's talented enough to be the lead in any film. And Russell Brand's 'brand' of humor wears REALLY thin after about half an hour. So...I'll wait 'til cable on this one and hope that when I see it, it'll prove me completely wrong.

But I doubt it'll happen like that.

Aldous Snow was one of the few redeeming aspects of Forgetting Sarah Marshall...so I'd see this.

However....Jonah Hill looks like warmed-over dog-shit! He looks like he's fatter than he was in Accepted!

Looks like fun...I'll wait for DVD, though.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite movies of the last few years, Jonah all but stels the movie. That said, him playing another character in the same universe bugs me to no end (I have a weird form of movie OCD) and the trailer got zero laughs out of me.

I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall also and I just found out from what you posted, that this is a spin-off. I thought Jonah's character on FSM got a break in L.A. from a job but it's an entirely different character. I would have like to seen the grudge he had for Aldous Snow for throwing away his demo CD. I'll wait for Spill.Com's review on this one even though I love these type of movies.

Anyway, Diddy actually looks like he's actually doing a good job. Did you see him in the new Raisin in the Sun? What an amateur...

He was pretty decent in Monster's Ball and Made. He's a much better actor than he is a "rapper," or whatever it is you call whispering "Yeah" and "That's right" several times into a microphone.

Ha! That post made my day on so many levels. He's not as loud as he was in the days of Biggie and Nas's "Hate Me Now". That whispering and sh-t is hilarious...he even appeared his head in Ke$ha's "Tik Tok"-

I'm looking forward to this movie. I'm a fan of Russell Brand and Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite movies so I really hope that this doesn't suck.

I'm assuming Apatow's producing this, yes? I'm a big fan of his, but I'm afraid his heat is fading due to the disappointments of Year One and Funny People last year. Hopefully he's got another hit in him.

I am a Simon fan...for the most part I love British men but Russell Brand just grosses me out.

Well, Spill.Com's Carlyle saw this early and says it's hilarious and even Diddy is.

Not gonna lie Diddy's line about the Jordans and six kids.... ....But this movie still looks bad

I personally think it looks really funny. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I love Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but I have absolutely zero interest in this movie.
