Worst insult man to man?

We were talking about this at work today, and it led to some interesting conversation. Figured i'd post it.

Spit on him

Slap him

Sleep with his wife/girl friend

Open handed slap to the face, by far.

I lean towards spitting, myself, but, a slap is right up there, yeah...!

Spitting seems to be the ultimate form of disrespect.

Nope, the slap has to win hands down. I've actually debated this before, and I'll explain:
Spitting is often done as a last minute "I don't know what to do, so I'll spit". Oftentimes this is done while someone is exiting a confrontation.
When a guy slaps another guy, it's specifically done as a stinging insult. If it was to harm him, he would have thrown a punch.
The slap has a sting and leaves a welt, reminding whoever the recipient was that they were, indeed, insulted. It's the intent and the sting combined that really pushes it over the edge.
As far as sleeping with another dude's lady, that might not even have anything to with the dude at all.

Hmmm...I'm torn between spitting and slapping. Both would definately suck but I think I'm going to go with getting slapped. Jeffro sumed it up pretty good.

I vote for spitting. If some mutherfucker spat on me, I'd knock that dude out and take a shit in his eye sockets.

I'd have to go with spitting as the ultimate form of disrespect. My homey spit on this dude's face for some reason and I wanted to beat my homey's ass for doing it and not the other guy. That's how disrespectful I see spitting. If he just bitch slapped him i'd be like "Ooohhhhh he just got the pimp backhand".

Ive actually spit in someone's face, then followed it up with a backhandslap, and a hearty "Fuck you!" if you're going do something, do it big, or don't do it at all, amirite?

I would definitely go with open-hand slap. One of the only physical confrontations I've ever been in involved me pushing this kid down and hauling off on him. He learned his lesson, I assure you.

This. If I'm actually driven to using physical means (I consider myself a very calm and diplomatic individual), I might as well get my money's worth. Of course, "do it big" for me means leaving the guy a bloody, unrecognizable mess of broken bones and shattered psyche. That said, if someone spit in my face, it won't end well. The last time that happened (high school), I kicked the dude's ass, trashed his car, and kicked his brother's ass as well. It was a wild week of rage but man, it was quite wonderful . In any case, a slap is nothing more than an invitation to have their ass beat and an act of charity on my part since it will be the only hit they will get and the last time they'll be able to use that hand for a good while. That said, I vote for spitting.

I'm gonna say "other" only because it is so subjective. But completely agree with spitting over slapping. Slapping...it can sting, but it makes the one guy look like a douche if that's all he does. It's like, "Did you seriously slap me?" Spitting is disgusting! Saliva is gross. It can have old food, bad breath smell, mucus...just a really demeaning act.

I would assume going literal ape-shit on someone would be the only "other" that'd pop in my head. If someone dumps in their hand and throws it in somebodies face or slaps them with it...that's probably the ultimate taking-away-of-dignity. Course...you just pooped in your hand. So...kind of hurts the poopers dignity too. I seriously thought out.

I would cut a bitch for slapping me, or spitting on me.

i ALWAYS try to avoid confrontation. (with varing degrees of success.) but if a guy spat on me, dude i don't even wanna think about it. i'd probably not get any jail time because of mental disease or defect. in other words all the voices in my head would make me go all "waterboy" bobby boucher, make me scream out in that high pitched squeal, charge the dude, rip his arms off, and drink the blood from his seeping wounds........maybe.
