Now, this is not some show that'll pump neurons and make you smart, but lordy it entertains.
As a TV viewer, this show is simply put downright entertaining. From making the queens put on 80's workout wear infomercials to making couture gowns inspired by cakes, it takes the best features of "America's Next Top Model" and "Project Runway" and smooshes it into an hour of impeccable fun and crass. And honestly, guys, look up some of the queens this season, notably Carmen Carrera, Yara Sofia and Raja. They're ri-goddamn-diculous.
However, as someone new to the Drag community, there's a LOT to be desired... mainly in the attitudes and actions of the queens on the show. They seem to be all bitches and self-involved cunts, with nothing but catty remarks to say to each other. This couldn't be farther from the true drag community I come from... Sure we have our fair share of bitches who complain who don't really deserve the spotlight they're given, but at least the community as a whole promotes growth and acceptance. I want to see more of that in the upcoming episodes/seasons.
Overall, even if you're straight, gay, bi, trans, whatever, there' something to enjoy about the show.
Now I'mma sashay away and get to bed, halleloo!
