Mandy Patinkin is just shy of 6", and Wallace Shawn is just over 5". If you went with Quinton, you'd need someone in the 4.5" range and 5.5" range for Vizinni and Inigo.

Real hobbits would be awesome!

But no, Vizzini, Inigo, and Fezzik should not be camera tricks, they should be real actors with Fezzik being 7'+, especially when people like that really exist and you wouldn't have to inflate the F/X budget.

Case in point, Robbie Coltrane's Haggrid looked much better when he was really in scenes than when they were digitally adding him to make him look bigger. (And I realize he was in lifts and filming alongside kids and they used camera tricks).
