Geek Media Expo is the secondary convention from Lucas Leverett. His first convention Middle Tennessee Anime Convention draws more than 7000 individuals a year (www.mtac.net). This second convention is everything BUT anime.

GMX is growing, but we need dedicated fans of ANY fandom to join us on Oct 22-24th. Check out GMX online at http://www.whatisgmx.net and find out all the goings-on.

We'll have Orion Slave Girls, parties & panels out the ying-yang. If you are 21, you will enjoy some of the adult oriented parties (we had a Browncoat Party & a Star Wars Cantina as well.)
It's a very hands on and personal convention. It's not like ACEN in Chicago where all the guests are behind barriers and have 12 IRT members around them. You can walk to and shake hands with your favorite celebrities of the past & present and have a good time.
