The Divas Table match with Lay-Cool vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya for WWE's TLC pay-per-view was the company's way of responding to the recent Tara/Mickie James cage match in TNA.

Yeah that's what I thought. It's about time woman's wrestling advances some more.

Well, the Tara Mickie match was one of the better ladies matches I've seen outside of SHIMMER, so this tables match better be awesome.

The Tara vs. Mickie James steel cage main event on TNA Impact during the 12/9 show was designed to close the show since the company thought it may keep the audience until the end and improve the quarter hour. However, it turns out more people tuned out that main event than any others in recent months. It left many "baffled" within TNA reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

I'm really not to surprised at that. Had you not posted it and said it was worth watching I probably wouldn't of seen it.

Not surprised either. I've turned off woman's matches because the wrestling is sub-par. Don't get me wrong I'll watch an entrance..but then I'll turn the channel.

Watched ECW One Night Stand and Wrestlemania 19 last night.

The WM 19 Women's Championship match with Jazz, Victoria, and Trish was brutal.

I miss Trish.

I thought Trish was fantastic. I thought her progression as a wrestler really was incredible and I also miss her. I also miss Lita.

WWE releasing Kaval (Brandon Silvestry) yesterday came as a surprise to a number of higher-ups within the company and the continued talk is that it was more his decision to leave. As noted earlier, the company appeared to have made a decision where they didn't have big plans for his character and it led to frustration on his end. The Wrestling Observer is also reporting that WWE will release those who ask for it without attempting to keep them around due to the feeling that TNA offers them no competition, which is a much different feeling from just one year ago. He will return to the indy scene quite quickly under his "Low Ki" moniker and has confirmed another booking with ICW (Impact Championship Wrestling) on January 28 in Queens, NY against The Amazing Red.

He's been known to ask for his release when he's not happy. To be honest it's not surprising. WWE always has issues on how to use smaller guys. Having him go against Rey would have been great to see. The lack of competition makes the WWE very lazy creatively.

I don't think that could happen right now. Then again they are planning on turning Edge and Morrison heel sometime after the Rumble.

which is dumb as all hell since Morrison is getting over the way he should be.

I'm thinking they'll find ways to keep Cena on TV, even if he can't wrestle. Almost like how they did with Austin after he broke his neck.
