Green Arrow short!

That was like at least a half a dozen types of awesome. I so think he could carry his own feature length animated dvd. Loved it.

I thought the same. the arrows didn't come off as cheesy, though Ollie, God bless him, sure as hell did. When he asked the guy "aren't you here to kill her?" i about lost it....

Ollie came off as really cool and interesting and could so be a leading character in a dvd movie.

Thank you for posting that, RIV! Thanks to PrescribedDrone I saw Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, but it didn't come with the GA short film.

Now, if only I can find the Supergirl doc.

Welcome, man. Someone posted it at another site i go to, figured i'd share, it was a really fun 11 minutes!

This was fantastic! It was a fun, if a bit sketchy, story that crammed in GA, BC, Vertigo, and Merlin in ten minutes..and got it right. I loved the guy who voiced Ollie and now can't wait to see him as Dum Dum in 'Captain America.' This is a fun introduction for anyone who has not been introduced to GA yet and also a pleaser to GA fans. I really enjoyed this, hopefully a Question animated short is in the works too.

I'd love a Question short, he's a favorite of mine.

And BlueMaxx, a Spectre and Jonah Hex find? Sweet!!!

Yeah. This was a lot of fun and very much "Showcased" the awesome potential that is Green Arrow. Loved it.

Just watched the Spectre short. Much like the comics, i like the character but, he comes off as too damn powerful. I wouldn't get a full length adventure i don't think.

Am watching Jonah Hex right now (giving it time to load, it's slow for some reason). They sure didn't skimp on the voice talent! The story's simple but engaging so far. Hex i'd definately wanna see more of...

I really liked the Spectre short. It had a very 70's vibe and it was rather fun.

The Jonah Hex was everything I wanted the live action movie to be. It was so good.

Agreed on Jonah. The ending was perfectly in character and the fight scene was brutally realistic.

Yeah. The whole setup for that story was just perfect and the ending was just so Jonah Hex.

I thought it was pretty good and I'm not a Green Arrow fan.

Ollie came off as a likable goofball. He translated perfectly into this short.

Vic Sage solving a small noir tale in Hub City would be a wonderful short. Of course, the full-length wouldn't be out of The Question. Only pun, I promise. Have the story where he changes his ways, meets Rodor then Shiva then Richard Dragon, then saves Hub City, arguably the most corrupt city in the DCU, by deciphering the conspiracies. Like in the O'Neil's 80's run. Really straight-forward noir-esque story, but with that spin of familiar characters and themes they wouldn't show in times that noir was prominent. Hell, he spars with Bruce Wayne as he trains with Dragon, ascertains that he is more than what he is and hints that he figures out he's Batman, although never revealing. Vic never reveals his hand. It's not how you get answers when you need them by being an info box yourself. God I love that character. Detective skills as good as The Caped Crusader, possibly better? Would love that! Hell, I wouldn't mind if they put Batman on the cover, even if he doesn't have a prominent part and it is to sell the dvd. Heh.

Oh, and Booster Gold, please. JLI, as well. ...Manhunter, Kate Spencer. Gotham Central! Nah, the latter'd be hard to do without it being a series. Um...sheez, tons of small license that could be made into features.
