Growing up I was a hard core Marvel Zombie, now not so much. From Marvel The only thing I can think of off the top off my head that I'm pulling is Ultimate Comics Avengers, and Doctor Voodoo when that comes out.

I only read Marvel when I started, then graduated to DC. That's kind of how I feel. Marvel is for children and noobs, and DC is for people who like to think.

I can definitely see that point of view. I just hope Iron Fist is coming back after Immortal Weapons. Ooops thats another marvel book I read.

That's bullshit. DC has a juvenile approach to superhero the same as Marvel's. Once a decade comes an Alan Moore or Grant Morrison and creates a mature oeuvre, but most of the times both companies are stuck in place.

I believe they do. 'Course, Wildstorm and Vertigo sort of count as DC bank. IDK.

It just seems that there is a lot of Marvel books out there. Maybe it's just because of all the Dark Reign stuff.

Marvel is known to publish more books than any pother company. Counting all the books published last Wednesday: DC - 29 books. Marvel - 34. And that's without counting variants.

im trying to get into Project Superpowers now, i read Chapter 2 issue 1 and it was pretty good.

^ I thought the DC-is-for-adults is a very subjective statement. Although, I will say that I've heard that a good bit, and have heard no Marvelite say the flipside of that statement. Plus, Vertigo and Wildstorm beat the crap-ola out MAX & Icon. I mean, many of Vertigo's most prominent titles were originally in DC universe. DCU was actually starting to become what Vertigo branched off to be over a decade before, in some cases, with Green Arrow, The Question, Doctor Fate, Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, Animal Man, Vigilante, and a good few others that were very adult. Not necessarily adult as in vulgarity and explicit material, but with depth of storyline, characterization, and addressing the reader with very real hypotheticals, inner-monologue, and gray-areas of life through these fictions.
