I've heard of them alot (I know Doop was cool and an obsession of Runaway's Molly Hayes) but I've never read any of the stories. Maybe once in the Marvel website's online comics before they started charging money but that's about it.

No, not really. And I'm fine with it existing as it was, disconnected from pretty much the entirety of the MU. I do NOT want to see a book about training Avengers that takes such a flip approach to death, especially so soon after Stamford.

I must be in the minority. I like ths costume design. I hope the lightning pattern moves some how. The only thing that bugs me is the hair but overall it's a pretty cool designs.

Chris Gage is a really talented writer. The fact that he's from Worcester only makes it better

Indeed. That was one of the things I thought was nifty about Havok. I'm curious to see how this series will play out, since in the past, the title (comparable title) has been geared towards military training and combat. I wonder who will be running this program as well. I wonder if Professor X will show up, since he has experience with training people with powers and Dani Moonstar has showed up in such a series before so an X-men does not seem too far off a posibility.

Good idea. A name that comes to mind is Beast. All evidence points to Beast being part of the Avengers line of books somehow. If he's not on the actual field teams then this seems like a good fit for him. I could see him being headmaster with all the experience he has with the X-Men's school.

Dude, Worcester rocks! While not the cleanest city, we have the only armory museum in the Western Hemisphere. You do need to come to Worcester more.
