There's some guys floating around the indys that are pretty good in every category, work, look, ability to speak, but even that doesn't translate into superstardom in the wrestling world, if it did Punk would probably be the top guy in the WWE, although the fact that they never let him talk hurts his position in the company quite a bit.
Tyler Black over in ROH has star written all over him, he can wrestle better than the majority of the planet, he's got a great look, and his pseudo emo gimmick is actually pretty entertaining and I think it would translate well to the mainstream audiences.
Will he ever get a shot? Who knows, I'm sure the WWE and TNA have their eyes on him, but how would their audiences actually react to him?
Like I said, I watch allot of indy wrestling and I don't see anyone outside of Tyler that I honestly think has what it takes to be something big, there are great wrestlers, great entertainers, etc... But wrestling just seems to be at a down point as whole right now, and honestly I don't see anyone that could really take the industry on their backs and drag it kicking and screaming back to where it was back in the late 90's early 00's.
