I have it coming to me. I'll read the review after I read the book.

I picked up the first issue. Thought it was alright. I will give issue 2 a final try and if I don't connect...well no more for me.

I'll read issue #2 as well. I like the idea, but the execution's just not working for me right now.

I'm with you guys. This first one didn't really grab me. However it was all set up so we'll see if it improves once they get into the story more. I have to admit I liked the looks of Scott Snyder's story more than Stephen King's. Not sure if I like the idea of vampires being able to walk around during the day with the help of an umbrella to shade them.

^ It beats having them sparkle in the light, though.

^ So damn true.

I finally read #1 last night.
Just meh...
Not bad, but not great either.
And did the cover kind give away the story for issue #2?
Anyway, not picking up #2.

Just finished issue two. I can dig this. Like most Vertigo books, it's a slow burn, but the payoff is great.

This is disappointing me a bit. I'll be getting the first 5 issues but I don't feel it's particularly well written (and yeah I know Stephen King is one of the greats but that's not at writing comics). In complete contradiction of the comment above I think rather than a slow burn it all feels a bit rushed to me. Just not finding the characters interesting.

Most Vertigo books that I've read have grabbed me from the get-go. This book just never interested me, though.

I'm very interested. I think it will turn out very good. you have to give books time.
