2010 NBA Playoffs

Awesome game yesterday, that second quarter was NUTS! And Channing Frye finally got going, I knew there was no way a shooter like him would stay cold forever. I called Lakers in six at the start of this series but I'm starting to think this one's going 7.

I imagine some folks in Boston are getting a tad nervous now...

Orlando has finally shown up. If the Celts lose this may go down as the biggest collapse in history.

Excellent officiating last night. Kendrick Perkins totally deserved both of those technicals called on him. Also, it was good not blowing a whistle at Dwight Howard's near rape of Rondo.
I'm not that much of a homer to say that the C's would have won last night, but I am saying that, in regards to wherever it would have been directed, the NBA officiating is not doing a good job of making itself not look corrupt in regards to stretching out a playoff series.

The officiating has been horrible. As much as I'm not a fan of Kendric Perkins, he did not deserve either of those technical fouls last night. But this is playoff basketball let them play and be physical.

Wow Lakers got lucky and escaped! Was hoping to see Suns pull off the upset! Great game though.

What made me a Laker fan was watching Magic Johnson in the 80's. I want the Knicks to get better. I do pull for them but I am a Laker fan. It's the only non NY team I root for.

Lakers vs. Celtics. Again. I think I heard someone say this is the 12th time that these two teams have played each other in the NBA Finals. As of now, the Celtics have won 9 times and the Lakers have only won 2. I don't have any preferences. Just a good series.

By the conclusion of the 2010 NBA Finals, the Lakers and Celtics will have met a total of 12 times. To date, Boston has won nine and LA two (with the Celtics having won the first eight meetings).

If the Playoffs end with the Lakers and Celtics playing against each other, I wouldn't be surprised. Me being from California is always going to root for the Lakers but if the Celtics win the championship, I won't be mad at all. I have the a lot of respect for them.

I haven't been able to watch any of the games because of work but I like how this is going. My latest Sports Illustrated issue shows Boston's PG doing his thing.

Im just sick of the Lakers. Im tired of Kobe trying to be like Mike. Its annoying. Plus it would be nice to see somebody come out of the Western Conference that's not the Spurs or Lakers. Also Im a HUGE Bulls team and

So. How does that work?

Damn Celtics came out really flat and Lakers came to play. Horribly officiated game though, waaaay too many whistles. And I was so pissed the refs essentially took Ray Allen out the game with ticky tac fouls.

It's been said that Phil Jackson's team are 47-0 when they win the first game of a series. That's pretty impressive.
