The Cape

You have to be really, really miserable not to want to give this a shot. I understand some might be disillusioned by things like Heroes and Smallville, but this could really turn into something good.

I wonder how NBC will find away to take a dump on this series.

Best live action superhero TV show in the past 20 years was

I watched The Cape tonight and it was combined of the pilot and the episode Tarot which I really enjoyed. I think it shows promise, I saw the preview for the next episode they are bringing in another villain/villains which I don't get. They already have Scales (Vinnie Jones) and Cain. There's the main baddie called Chest.

I will just have to watch the next episode to see what happens.

I taped the show and will watch it later but I watched a bit here and there and it looked really interesting. I'm more interested in checking this out now after seeing more of it. I think this has promise.

I still can't decide if it was good or not.

it was mehhhhhhhhh - i mean they dulled down on cheese and trying to make it all serious and such but i dunno. it just didnt strong enough for my taste but ill give it a few more eps before i give it my final verdict XD

I was interested in this from the promos, but the premier failed to wow me. The show was way to fast paced, and by that I mean you had no concept of time passing

All in all, I'll give the show a few more episodes, but that first ep was pretty poorly written and edited.

I liked it. It's a bit over-the-top premise and I do agree you don't get a sense of time when it comes to the training and the part where he's building an immune to the poison but this is an over-the-top superhero show. Just because it's live action doesn't mean it has to be realistic. It's a comic book come to life and I was fine with it. I'm not sure how well it's going to do in the long run but I'll stick with it as long as it's on the air for now.

I know it's fiction, but explosions don't work that way.

An over-the-top superhero premise is no excuse for poor writing/editing.

I went into this really wanting to hate it...well I didn't hate it if that counts for something. But I didn't like it either. I just hope this show isn't so shitty that it gives superheroes and comic books a bad name. I don't expect it to last long though.

I think it could become better, but it'll have to try hard.

I don't see this lasting very long either but I didn't hate it.

I dug it. I see it being a poor man's "Batman", with "Orwell" being "Oracle" and the "Carnival of Crime" being the supporting "Bat Family". I think its gonna be a fun show and hope that it is given a chance to grow.

I watched the pilot and half of the first episode. It was pretty cliched and boring. Not a fan.

I just watched it.

I wouldn't get it on DVD. It's more of a I'll watch it once and then never again kind of thing.

I understand IMDB isn't always complete but how can you have the midget in 9 episodes and have the cape in 3? I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that.
